A six-time Oscar nominee, Amy Adams is definitely one of the most accomplished actresses in Hollywood. However, in the past few years, the actress hasn’t had an undisputed success, not with critics nor audiences.

Some of her latest works included the drama “Hillbilly Elegy,” for which she received a SAG nomination despite the film’s poor reviews. She also reprised her role of Giselle for the sequel of “Enchanted,” which also received mixed reviews, despite critics also praising her timeless charm.

However, Adams has now established her own production company Bond Group Entertainment with her manager Stacy O’Neil. And under the banner, she has some upcoming movies that seem promising. Check them out.

Amy Adams’ upcoming movies

Adams also wrapped production on 3000 Pictures’ Klara and the Sun, the next film from Oscar winner Taika Waititi, which adapts the dystopian sci-fi story from Kazuo Ishiguro. Jenna Ortega, Mia Tharia, Aran Murphy, Natasha Lyonne, Simon Baker and Harry Greenwood complete the cast.

The film was adapted by Dahvi Waller, best known for her work in the Emmy-winning series “Mad Men.” The story follows a robot named Klara exists to ease the loneliness of those she lives with.

The actress will also stars in “At the sea,” from Kornel Mundruczó and Kata Wéber. The filmmakers are behind other acclaimed films such as Pieces of a Woman and White God. Murray Bartlet has also joined the cast.

The film follows Laura (Adams), as she returns to her family at their beach holiday home where she has to readjust to the complicated life she left behind. Bartlett will play Laura’s husband.
