Owen Cooper, the young English actor of the moment, has already made history in Hollywood. At just 15, he became the youngest male actor ever to win a Primetime Emmy Award for his standout debut as Jamie Miller in the Netflix miniseries “Adolescence.”

Owen Cooper is set to play the teenage Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s upcoming “Wuthering Heights,” joining Charlotte Mellington as young Catherine Earnshaw and Vy Nguyen as the younger Nelly Dean. The film pairs them with Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie in the adult leads, and marks the movie debuts for all three rising stars.

With a release set for February 13, 2026, this picture is one of the two high-profile projects that promise to showcase the young actor’s talent to an even wider audience.

Joining the cast of BBC’s upcoming romantic comedy-drama “Film Club,” Owen Cooper plays the main character’s mischievous neighbor Callum. Fresh off his Emmy-winning performance in “Adolescence” and with his role in “Wuthering Heights” on the horizon, Cooper brings humor and energy to the ensemble alongside Aimee Lou Wood, Nabhaan Rizwan, and Suranne Jones.

“Film Club” follows Evie as she navigates friendship, family, and first love while running a weekly movie club in her mother’s garage. Filmed in Manchester, the six-part series will air later this year on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three.
