And, actually, it hasn’t left the Top 10 since its release back in March. So, it’s understandable that fans are clamoring for a <strong>second season</strong>, despite the fact that the show is still airing.</p>



<p>The <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/series">series</a></strong> is based on the 2018 novel <strong><em>Mr. &amp; Mrs. American Pi</em></strong>e by Juliet McDaniel, and it is set in 1969. It follows a former beauty pageant contestant <strong>Maxine Simmons (Kristen Wiig)</strong>, who wants to be part of the Palm Beach high society but she soon realizes that the elite don’t accept outsiders very easily. Despite being married to the heir (Josh Lucas) to the Dellacorte fortune, these women won’t let her be part of their circle. However, if Maxine can’t join them, she will try to tear them down.</p>



<p>Allison Janney, <strong>Leslie Bibb</strong>, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber are all part of the ensemble cast. While there are two episodes left in this season, Bibb, who plays Dinah in the <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a></strong>, has spoken about the possibility of a second installment. <strong>Here’s what the actress says.</strong></p>



<h2>Bibb says that the writers room “is open” for more of Palm Royale</h2>



<p>In an interview with Collider, Bibb explained the status of a second season of Palm Royale. <em>“There’s a writers’ room that’s open, and we’ll see. Apple doesn’t okay anything until they see numbers, <strong>but I’ve heard rumblings</strong>,</em>” she told the outlet.</p>



<p>For her, the show is “exciting” and <strong>Abe Sylvia</strong>, creator of the series, <em>“really knows how to nurture a creative spirit. From the writers’ room to the actors, he’s a very generous person. <strong>I think if we get a Season 2, it’s gonna be pretty wild</strong>.”</em></p>

<p>Meanwhile, Laura Dern, who is also a producer on the show, also expressed in an interview with T&amp;C an interest in making a season 2. <em>“I know with <strong>Mike White,</strong> when we were developing Enlightened, that was always a gorgeous question to ask: How can something stand on its own, and be cinematic and true, and <strong>then how can you just also start all over again?</strong>“</em></p>



<p><em>“As producers, that’s been I think a really fun thing to learn about in story. And [writer] Abe [Sylvia]’s <strong>done a brilliant job and a bold job at doing that</strong>,”</em> she added. Another member of the cast that expressed an interest in coming back was <strong>Ricky Martin.</strong></p>



<p>So, it seems like the cast and crew are game for a second season. However, an official announcement for a renewal will come, probably, after the Season 2 finale, which is expected for <strong>May 8, 2024.</strong></p>

<p>Despite <strong>Joaquin Phoenix </strong>being the protagonist of the narrative, he was not the only star to participate in the acclaimed historical drama. Those who accompanied him on the journey included <strong>Vanessa Kirby</strong>,<strong> Tahar Rahim</strong>, <strong>Rupert Everett</strong>, <strong>Mark Bonnar</strong>, <strong>Paul Rhys</strong> and <strong>Ben Miles</strong>, among others.</p>



<h2>What was the director’s basis for Napoleon?</h2>



<p><strong>Napoleon </strong>has been the center of multiple controversies since its worldwide release, and director <strong>Ridley Scott</strong> has had to clarify on several occasions the sources he relied on to bring the story to life, as many claimed that certain events did not unfold that way.</p>



<p>During an interview with Forbes, the director, also known for Gladiator, confessed that he did not read any books about the conqueror’s origins but drew inspiration from works that portrayed his journey. He said:</p>

<p>The painting by <strong>Jean Louis David</strong>, titled <strong>Le Sacre de Napoleon</strong>, inspired the coronation scene in the movie, and, as with this particular work, it happened multiple times.<em> “This is not painting; you walk into this work”,</em> he concluded.</p>

<p><strong>Tom Hiddleston</strong> (Loki, The Night Manager and Only Lovers Left Alive) has a new project in sight, and it’s a nature <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/documentary">documentary</a> for <strong>AppleTV+</strong>: <strong>Earthsound</strong>, the new series on the platform that was filmed in 20 countries and plunges headlong into the jungle.</p>



<p>It not only promises to be one of the most interesting docu-series but also the one that presents the most diversity in biomes, cultures, and species. Filmed over a thousand days spanning three and a half years, the first season consists of 12 episodes.</p>



<p>These episodes showcase content that technology had not allowed to be captured until now, bringing together stunning images of “our planet like never before”. According to its creators, the movements of nature have never been captured in this way before.</p>



<h2>When does Earthsounds premiere?</h2>



<p><strong>Earthsounds</strong> premieres on <strong>February 23</strong>, which means it is already available for streaming on the <strong>Apple TV+</strong> platform. <strong>Tom Hiddleston</strong> is the one narrating this natural adventure in docu-series format.</p>

<p>The series documents over 3,000 hours of audio using cutting-edge technology to record our planet in new ways, and Apple invites us to be fascinated by these Earth sounds in an innovative manner.</p>



<p>It is the first time that the actor who brought Loki to life in Marvel takes on narrating a documentary-style production, as previously he had only used his voice for films with different narratives, such as the animated Early Man from 2018.</p>

<p>According to a report from Variety, the show’s second season <strong>would be in development</strong>. However, there’s no official word from Apple yet. And, if it were for the reviews, the series should be scrapped at once.</p>



<p>Writing for Time, Judy Berman said that <em>“The New Look is, in practice,<strong> a dull, morose, bafflingly executed</strong> trudge through Nazi-occupied France, as navigated by two of the most famous names in the history of fashion.”</em></p>

<p>Meanwhile, The Guardian gave it two out of five stars and Lucy Mangan called the show <strong><em>“absurd to the point of insult.”</em></strong> While she writes that as a drama “it’s fine,” and praised the performances of the cast, she harshly criticized how the show treats the <strong>themes regarding the war.</strong></p>
