Saturday Night Live is known for featuring big celebrities as musical guests, stars of funny sketches and hosting wild moments. In the upcoming episode, we will see Jacob Elordi making his debut on the show, along with a special performance by Renée Rapp.

This marks the first time we’ll see the Saltburn actor alongside the singer and actress from the new version of Mean Girls, which is based on the Broadway musical. Those who participate in the show with humorously bizarre situations are often the current icons of the moment.

The Euphoria star’s hosting debut was announced in December, and the highly anticipated episode not only marks his first time on SNL but also the first episode of 2024. Here, check out how to watch it streaming and at what time it will be broadcast live…

When will SNL with Jacob Elordi air?

Jacob Elordi and Renée Rapp are ready to make their first appearance on SNL! The stars will have their debut on the comedy show during the first episode of 2024. This will take place on Saturday, January 20th, at 11:30 / 10:30c.

The episode can be watched live on NBC and will later be available on one of the most popular platforms: Peacock. In the new promo, the 26-year-old actor can be seen expressing the nerves he faces when delivering the opening monologue.

Humor and parodies are synonymous with SNL, so in the video posted by the official Twitter account, Elordi is seen attempting to descend the iconic steps of the show, where many iconic celebrities have ascended before him.

Even though Jacob has been more familiar with drama, he has already had the opportunity to work a bit in comedy, especially when he portrayed Noah Flynn in the Netflix trilogy The Kissing Booth. His role in the romantic comedy was what brought him significant popularity as an actor within the industry.

When will it be available to watch on Peacock?

As always, the first episode of SNL in 2024 will be available on Peacock the day after its broadcast on NBC. On the platform, not only can you watch previous episodes, but all the upcoming ones will also be available.

Pete Davidson kicked off the 49th season of the show as the host of the season premiere and since then, several big stars have taken his place. Some of them include Bad Bunny, Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa and Emma Stone.

Now, it’s Elordi’s turn with Renée Rapp as the musical guest for the night, so it is expected that she will perform one of her most popular songs. She also reacted enthusiastically to the news, writing on Instagram: “Yes, you have to be kidding”.

Don’t miss the new episode on Saturday at 11:30 PM ET—it will undoubtedly provide some great moments and plenty to talk about.
