Outlander has not only become one of the most iconic television series, but with its fantasy period plot, complex characters, and unexpected twists, it has managed to establish a broad fan base.
With seven seasons, the story seems to have no end in sight, and it was recently confirmed that the second part of the 7th season will be released soon, so the captivating romance and drama between the characters are far from over.
The first part consisted of eight episodes, and it was confirmed that Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe will be back as Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall for the four-time Primetime Emmy-winning drama.
When will Part 2 of Season 7 be released?
Starz, the platform responsible for the show, confirmed that the romantic period series will be back on screen on November 22. New episodes will be available each week on Friday at midnight ET on the Starz app and on all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms, ahead of their linear premiere at 8 p.m. ET in the U.S. and Canada.
The first part aired during 2023 and consisted of eight episodes, and the new installment will come with eight more, finally concluding the story. The season has already become the longest in Outlander‘s history, so far.
Fans will not only have their protagonists back, but several favorite characters will return once again, such as the Hunter siblings, who were portrayed by Izzy Meikle-Small and Joey Phillips.
Matthew B. Roberts confessed during an interview with Business Insider that some characters will return from the dead for the episodes, which will be based on the events of the seventh and eighth novels by Diana Gabaldon.
“One of the many pleasures of our epic story is the element of time travel that allows us to revisit some of our favorite characters in different times and places”, said the series showrunner to BI.
Without a doubt, the new installment will arrive more charged than ever and will bring with it everything that devoted viewers like: drama, fantasy, love, loyalty, family and of course, an uncertain destiny.
