“Maxton Hall” is the new teen series on Prime Video that has taken the global audience by surprise, becoming an immediate success in over 120 countries following the release of its first season.
As expected, the television adaptation based on the books written by German author Mona Kasten has been renewed for a second season, which does not yet have a release date but is expected to arrive in 2024.
With a strong cast led by Harriet Herbig-Matten (Ruby) and Damian Hardung (James), the romantic drama will continue exploring interpersonal relationships and the dilemmas that arise when love and family duty collide.
How many seasons will Maxton Hall have?
So far, the total number of seasons for Maxton Hall on Prime Video has not been confirmed, as Amazon will first need to see if the second installment achieves the same success as the first in order to renew it again in 2024.
However, since the series is based on the Save trilogy by Mona Kasten (Save Me, Save You, and Save Us), it is possible that it will have at least three seasons if the series follows the structure of the books.
Most of the original cast is expected to return in the new episodes, allowing the series to continue exploring the themes of power, love and family dynamics that were central to Season 1.
As confirmed, the story will delve deeper into the relationship between James Beaufort and Ruby Bell, focusing on the aftermath of James’s mother’s death and the emotional toll it takes on him.
