Sweet Home is a South Korean television series based on the webtoon of the same name, created by Carnby Kim and Youngchan Hwang. It premiered on Netflix in December 2020 and has since become a global hit among viewers.

Each episode blends genres such as horror, action and drama. Song Kang plays the protagonist: Cha Hyun-soo, a solitary and reclusive teenager who struggles to find purpose amidst the apocalypse.

The story is set in a world where people turn into monsters that reflect their own individual desires. Despite its three successful seasons, fans might have to say goodbye to the show. Here, check its future on the platform…

Will Sweet Home have a Season 4 on Netflix?

Unfortunately, “Sweet Home” will not have a fourth season. Both Netflix and the creators of the series have decided it is best to give it a proper ending rather than continue adding new episodes just for the sake of it.

The streaming platform itself and Lee Eung-bok, the director of the K-drama, have announced that the third season will resolve most of the questions that have developed throughout the 26 episodes of the show.

The site Area Jugones reported that, for now, there is no other streaming platform interested in buying and continuing the story, so it seems that no one will come to rescue it from obscurity.

Despite the cancellation announcement, multiple Netflix users have been giving the horror TV show originally titled Seuwiteuhom a chance, making the title the seventh most-watched production of the week.
