Spanish crime thriller ‘Gangs of Galicia’ (‘Clanes’ in Spanish) has become one of the most-watched titles on the platform within only three days since its release. The series explores the criminal underworld of drug trafficking in the European country.
Actually, ‘Gangs of Galicia’ is based on true events, inspired by several stories. Created by Jorge Guerricaechevarría (Outlaws) and directed by Roger Gual (Elite), the show has already become one of the most talked about series from the platform.
Starring Clara Lago and Tamar Novas, the series follows Ana, a lawyer who uncovers a shocking secret about her late father: he was secretly involved in drug trafficking. Apart from the thrilling narrative, part of the appeal of the series are the stunning locations.

As previously mentioned, the series features Clara Lago, renowned for her roles in “The Neighbor” and “Spanish Affair.” Tamar Novas, known for “The Mess You Left Behind” and “1000 Miles from Christmas,” stars as Daniel, a drug trafficker with whom Ana falls in love.
