Corenswet later shared that the former Superman encouraged him to “have fun with it,” allowing the new actor to discover the role on his own terms. He chose not to reveal the rest of the letter, explaining that the exchange was personal and meaningful between the two of them.

Corenswet’s time as Superman is only just beginning. He is set to reprise the role in “Man of Tomorrow,” Gunn’s upcoming follow-up, which will see the superhero and Lex Luthor reluctantly join forces against the powerful Brainiac. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters in July 2027.
