<p>AFTRA pays contestants around $1,571 dollars and provides meals for two-hour episodes, while those who film for just one hour would receive $1,303 dollars. Additionally, they also receive a wardrobe allowance as they need to look presentable for the show.</p>



<p><strong>Richard Rushfield</strong>, the former contributing editor at Vanity Fair, disclosed, <em>“They go shopping with a fashion consultant who works on the show, and they get like $450 a week to spend on whatever they want”</em>.</p>



<p><em>“But many of them dip into their own pocket because a few hundred dollars doesn’t go far in many of these pricey Hollywood stores. The clothes are theirs to keep after the show”</em>, he added later.</p>



<p>It is estimated that over the seasons, the money awarded to participants in the competition has increased, but the total amount they currently earn has not been disclosed so far.</p>

In its 21st season, auditions were held in<strong> Las Vegas, Nevada, New Orleans, Louisiana, and Nashville, Tennessee</strong>. In an interview with Deadline, showrunner Megan Michaels said that they were able to go “to the biggest music cities in America” for this season.</p>



<h2>American Idol: Where do the live concerts take place?</h2>



<p>From 2002 to 2014, the live concerts took place at the <strong>CBS Television City</strong> in Los Angeles, California. The place opened back in 1952, and has been the filming location for a variety of talk shows, game shows, soap operas, and scripted series.</p>

However, after performing in the Top 24, she withdrew from the show for “personal reasons.” While she never clarified what happened, she is now ready to launch new music and has been promoting her upcoming single “Nice Girl” on her social media platforms.</p>

According to Glover’s Instagram page, she’s still performing and has a bachelor’s degree in film and television.</p>

<p>However, contestants have access to <strong>psychological care</strong>, especially after they’re eliminated. Again according to Perkins, contestants in the Top 12 were expected to have regular check-outs. <em>“The minute you are eliminated, you walk from that stage and into the psychiatrist’s office for a debriefing<strong>. They make sure that you talk about it</strong>,”</em> she explained to the outlet.</p>



<p>And, another good thing about the accommodations of the show is that, apparently, <strong>food is great.</strong> <strong>Jessie Poland</strong>, who competed under the name Charlotte Sometimes in season 2, said that <em>“Once you’re on the show for a while, you got money [a stipend] to go out and <strong>catering was really great.</strong> I ate really well.”</em></p>

<p>Season 3 of the show was filled with talent. Apart from winner Fantasia Barrino, who defeated Diana DeGarmo by a small margin of votes, Jennifer Hudson was also a contestant. Barrino most recently starred in “The Color Purple” (2023).</p>

<p>In its fourth season, American Idol crowned Carrie Underwood as the winner. The then-21-year-old songstress went on to become a Grammy-winning country superstar. Bo Bice was the runner-up in the competition.</p>

<h3>David Cook – Season 7</h3>

<p>David Cook defeated David Archuleta in the epic “David vs. David” Season 7 finale. However, it’s hard to say that there were any losers, as both singers launched successful music careers after that.</p>

<p>In 2009, Kris Allen beat Adam Lambert in the big finale of Season 8 of the show. It was a surprising result, as Lambert was the clear favorite. However, both singers have been successful in their careers.</p>



<h3>Lee DeWyze – Season 9</h3>

<h3>Scotty McCreery – Season 10</h3>

<p>Season 12 made history as the first to feature an all-female top five, ultimately resulting in the victory of Candice Glover, the first female winner since season six. <h3>Caleb Johnson – Season 13</h3>

<p>Caleb Johnson was announced the winner of the season, with Jena Irene as runner-up. In 2015, he launched his own label, Big Johnson Records. Following this, he formed a band called Caleb Johnson &amp; the Ramblin’ Saints. However, his most recent move was joining “Neverland Express” as the lead singer in 2021.</p>



<h3>Trent Harmon – Season 15</h3>

<p>American Idol: The Farewell Season premiered on Fox on January 6, 2016, marking the final season on the network. Despite reports that the series would be ending, ABC announced that it would revive the show. Trent Harmon won, with La’Porsha Renae as the runner-up.</p>



<h3>Maddie Poppe – Season 16</h3>

<p>The American Idol reboot premiered on ABC in 2018. Ryan Seacrest continued his role as the show’s host, with a new group of judges including Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Maddie Poppe won the season, with her boyfriend Caleb Lee Hutchinson as the runner-up.</p>



<h3>Laine Hardy – Season 17</h3>

<p>Laine Hardy won the season with Alejandro Aranda as the runner-up. The 18-year-old Louisiana native didn’t originally plan on auditioning, but was convinced by the judges when he accompanied a friend to the audition.</p>



<h3>Just Sam – Season 18</h3>

<p>Season 18 was temporarily shut after the Top 21 were revealed, as the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread. The show resumed production in late April, with Seacrest, the judges, and contestants filming their parts virtually, from home. Just Sam was crowned as the winner, with Arthur Gunn finishing as the runner-up.</p>



<h3>Chayce Beckham – Season 19</h3>

<h3>Noah Thompson – Season 20</h3>

<p>The 20-year-old Kentucky construction worker won America’s heart for season 20, beating out runner-up HunterGirl and third-place competitor Leah Marlene. He didn’t intend to audition, but his friend signed him up to go to the show.</p>



<h3>Iam Tongi – Season 21</h3>

<h2>Understanding Oscars Voting: How Winners Are Chosen</h2>



<p>The winners of the Oscars are chosen in a traditional manner, <strong>through a voting process (now online</strong>) involving the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, whose list is quite extensive.</p>

<p>The artists and stars comprising <strong>the group make their choices anonymously</strong>, so the results remain confidential until the ceremony, where the presenters unveil them. The process consists of multiple steps, and here is a more detailed breakdown of the voting process up to the present:</p>



<ul><li><strong>Members of the Academy</strong>: The Academy is composed of over 9,000 members representing various branches of the film industry, including actors, directors, writers, producers, and other professionals.</li></ul>



<ul><li><strong>Nominations</strong>: Each member votes for nominations in their specific area of expertise. For example, directors nominate directors, actors nominate actors, and so forth. All members can vote for categories like <em>Best Picture</em> and <em>Best Foreign Language Film</em>.</li></ul>

<p>This refers to <strong>The King’s Assassin</strong>: <strong>The Fatal Affair of George Villiers and James I</strong>, which was published in 2017. The seven episodes gradually unfold this intriguing story filled with a lot of seduction and social ascent. </p>



<p>Set in aristocratic England, the plot follows <strong>Mary Villiers</strong> and her second son, <strong>George</strong>. Many events are based on real events, such as George’s ascent, but there are others that are a bit more fictional.</p>



<p>According to AMC News and a snippet from the writings of the author and broadcaster, <em>“For a decade, Villiers was at the king’s side: at court, on official occasions, and in bed, until James’s death in March 1625”</em>.</p>

<h2>Nika King jokes she hasn’t paid rent in six months</h2>



<p>King playfully teased that Zendaya, currently busy promoting her latest film, <strong>Dune: Part Two</strong>, was causing a delay for the third season of the show. <em>“And Zendaya’s over in Paris at Fashion Week. I’m like, ‘B****, come home! I need you. Mama needs you.’”</em></p>



<p>Zendaya is also a producer of the series, which was created by Sam Levinson. Season 3 of the series has been described by Levinson as<em> “film noir,”</em> while it has been reported that it could aim for a<strong> 2025 release.</strong></p>

<p>In the stand-up clip, King also says she hasn’t paid rent “in six months,” and admits she hasn’t booked anything since the show.<em> “This is some bull****. I thought my career was on the rise after Euphoria, I thought I was good,” </em>she explained.</p>



<p><em><strong>“I called Taraji,” </strong></em>King remarked, recalling their<em><strong> conversation. “She was like, ‘B****, get used to it,&apos;”</strong> </em>referencing Taraji P. Henson. Last year, Henson tearfully admitted she contemplated quitting acting due to the unfair treatment faced by her and other Black women in Hollywood.</p>

While Reality Steve had claimed that <strong>Daisy Kent </strong>was the winner of the season, the insider admitted on Feb. 26th that he made a mistake and the real winner is, indeed, <strong>Kelsey Anderson.</strong></p>



<p>On Instagram, Steve spilled all the details about how the season ended. <em>“After Daisy’s last date with Joey, she figured out he wasn’t going to choose her. So she went to Kelsey’s room and basically said, ‘It’s not me, it’s you.’ That’s never happened on the show before,”</em> he wrote.</p>

<p><strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/vanderpump-rules">Vandeprump Rules</a></strong>‘ ‘Scandoval’ has reached new heights. <strong><em>Variety </em></strong>reports that <strong>Rachel Leviss</strong>, formerly known as Raquel, has filed a lawsuit against <strong>Tom Sandoval </strong>and <strong>Ariana Madix</strong> for <strong>eavesdropping</strong>, <strong>revenge porn,</strong> <strong>invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.</strong></p>



<p>The news came after Leviss, 29, who didn’t return to the show for Season 11 after <strong>heading to a mental health facility</strong>, had an affair with Tom Sandoval, 40, while he was dating Madix, 38. The aftermath of the scandal was all captured by the cameras for Season 10, and it boosted the show’s popularity.</p>

<p>Per the outlet’s report, the Leviss alleges in the lawsuit that she was a <em>“victim of the <strong>predatory and dishonest behavior of an older man</strong>, who recorded sexually explicit videos of her <strong>without her knowledge or consent,</strong> which were then distributed, disseminated, and discussed publicly by a scorned women seeking vengeance, catalyzing the scandal.”</em></p>



<h2>Leviss confronted Sandoval</h2>



<p>In Season 10, Madix, who had been dating Sandoval for a decade, said that she accidentally saw an <strong>explicit video of the duo on Sandoval’s phone</strong>, which was how she learned about the affair and soon cameras were rolling.</p>



<p>The lawsuit, as Variety reports, alleges that the scandal<em> “was the subject of extraordinary press coverage” </em>and made its<em> “cast members mega-celebrities,” and that Leviss “became an object of public scorn and ridicule.”</em></p>

<p>She also alleges that she was <em>“misled by Bravo and Evolution into believing that she was contractually barred from speaking out about her mistreatment.”</em> The report also states that Leviss <strong>alleges she confronted Sandoval</strong> about the intimate videos he recorded without her consent.</p>



<p>On the other hand, NBC reports that the lawsuit also states that <em>“Leviss is informed and believes … <strong>that Madix has obtained at least two illicit videos of Leviss</strong> and distributed them and/or showed them to others with Leviss’ knowledge or consent.”</em></p>



<h2>Sandoval says he hasn’t capitalize from the scandal</h2>



<p>Just a week ago, <strong><em>The New York Times</em></strong> published a new Sandoval’s profile, in which he admitted that he hasn’t been able to capitalize on Vanderpump Rules’ new fame. In the lawsuit, per Variety, Levis alleges he received a “pay rise” but the outlet says <strong>sources close to the matter deny it.</strong></p>

<p><em>“There are minimal brands that want to be associated with someone who’s thought of as a cheater,” </em>Sandoval’s manager, Ryan Revel, told <em><strong>The New York Times. </strong></em>Meanwhile, Sandoval complained that he was frustrated because <em>“<strong>everybody cashed in. E</strong>verybody won on this. The cast, the execs, the network —</em> e<em>verybody made so much money. But I try to put it on myself, to make the best opportunity out of it that I can.”</em></p>

<p>Talking about Leviss, Sandoval said that he <strong>quit drinking for Leviss</strong>, expecting them to be together after she left the mental treatment facility. However, she hasn’t returned his calls since June. He told the newspaper that she didn’t give him “any closure” and that<strong> “was really hard,”</strong> and it “still messes” with him.</p>

<h4>Series based on Aegon’s Conquest</h4>



<p>After the success of HOTD, it was reported that <strong>Aegon Targaryen</strong> would have his own series, where they would develop the conquest of Westeros. <strong>Mattson Tomlin, </strong>who also worked on The Batman Part II, would be in charge of the spin-off, which still does not have a fixed title.</p>



<p>The screenwriter, director, and producer will be adapting the story of Aegon’s brutal <strong>conquest of the Seven Kingdoms</strong>, as written by the book author in the first half of <strong>Fire &amp; Blood</strong>.</p>



<p>Business Insider confirmed that it would be a prequel and would follow the events of House of the Dragon, depicting how Aegon successfully unified all the realms, along with his sister-wives Rhaenys and Visenya, and their dragons, in just two years.</p>



<h4>A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight</h4>



<p><strong>A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight </strong>will be based on George R. R. Martin’s <strong>Dunk &amp; Egg</strong> and is one of the most active projects within HBO’s panel. The plot will take place almost a century before the events of Game of Thrones and will focus on <strong>Ser Duncan the Tall</strong> and <strong>Aegon V Targaryen</strong>.</p>



<p><em>“If you don’t know the characters, Dunk &amp; Egg sounds like a sitcom. Laverne &amp; Shirley. Abbott &amp; Costello. Beavis &amp; Butthead. So, no. We want ‘knight’ in the title. Knight and knighthood are crucial to the themes of these stories”,</em> the author posted.</p>



<h4>Nine Voyages</h4>



<p>In early 2021, Deadline confirmed that HBO is developing a series about the adventures of <strong>Corlys Velaryon</strong>, also known as The Sea Snake. The spin-off is taking its time, as creating a new show that connects with what has been seen before and maintains the same quality as previous productions is a significant task.</p>



<p>The character was introduced in the first season of <strong>House of the Dragon</strong> and was portrayed by <strong>Steve Toussaint</strong>. However, it is believed that he will not be the protagonist of the series since it will be a prequel, depicting a much younger version of Corlys, showcasing his maritime travels to Pentos, Dragonstone, and Westeros.</p>

<p>The actor discussed his potential involvement in the series during an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2022, expressing his enthusiasm to participate, even if only in a brief scene. <em>“If I’m lucky, I might say to them, ‘Let me just sit at the beginning [of the show] with a book and say, ‘Let me talk about my life&apos;”,</em> he said.</p>



<p>Despite all his efforts, the author of the original saga confessed that the series will not be a live-action but will take place in animated format. This is due to budgetary limitations that make a live-action adaptation relatively more expensive.</p>



<h4>Season 2 of House of the Dragon</h4>



<p><strong>House of the Dragon</strong> was the first spin-off that arrived after Game of Thrones concluded its eighth season in 2019. Not only did it become one of HBO’s most popular titles, but it also became as iconic as its predecessor.</p>



<p>Its first season aired in 2022, and shortly after it concluded, it was confirmed that the characters would be back for a second installment. The premiere episode set viewership records and garnered eight Emmy nominations, so a renewal was expected.</p>

<p>The upcoming season is expected to focus on the thick of the war. Showrunner <strong>Ryan Condal</strong> spoke with EW about the story and assured that the early episodes were just <em>“setting the table for a very bloody feast to come”</em>, according to Fotogramas.</p>



<p><em>“The reason I really wanted to spend our time doing this is that I wanted everybody to understand who all these characters were and the long history that they had behind them, behind their parents and their grandparents, that led us to this point, where they end up fighting a civil war against each other”,</em> he later added.</p>



<h4>10,000 Ships</h4>



<p>The arrival of <strong>10,000 Ships</strong> has not been confirmed yet, but it has been brought to the table. Several HBO team members revealed that they are considering bringing to life a series that would be linked with another project titled <strong>Flea Bottom</strong>, set in the poorest slum of King’s Landing.</p>

<p>According to Business Insider and The New York Times, Martin reportedly stated that the show would be set <em>“like a thousand years before” </em>the original material, describing it as an <em>“Odyssey-type epic</em>“.</p>



<p>The episodes would tell the story of the warrior queen known as Princess Nymeria and the surviving Rhoynars, who traveled from Essos to Dorne after their defeat against Valyria and its dragons.</p>
