The Bachelor returns on Monday, January 22 (8 pm ET, ABC) for its 28th season, featuring Joey Graziadei as the new lead. This time, 32 women will be competing for his heart, but we already have the scoop of what’s going to happen during the premiere.
As usual, the first episode of The Bachelor will feature the classic limo entrances and the first impressions between lead and contestants. And, sadly, various of the women will have to say goodbye after just one night (we’ll get to that in a second), but also, there’s the coveted first impression rose.

Who gets Joey’s First Impression Rose?
Per Reality Steve, Lea Cayanan receives the first impression rose after a cute exchange with Joey. The fact is that the Bachelor gave her a letter during the The Final Rose episode for her to open on the first night of this season.

The letter says that she could “steal” any woman’s one-on-one date whenever she wanted. However, Lea decides to burn the letter and tells him she wanted him to choose her for a date rather than taking one from someone else. This, according to the insider, impresses Joey, who gave him the rose.
