“The Idea of You,” a <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/romance">romantic</a> <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/comedy">comedy</a> starring <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/anne-hathaway">Anne Hathaway</a> and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/nicholas-galitzine">Nicholas Galitzine</a>, will officially premiere on <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a> on May 2, according to the new poster released by the platform. The streamer also confirmed that the first trailer will be released tomorrow (March 6th).



Prior to its release on streaming the film will be projected during the closing night of this year’s SXSW, which will end on Saturday, March 16th. Other highly-anticipated projects that will be shown at the festival include Ryan Gosling’s “The Fall Guy” and Jake Gyllenghaal’s “Road House.”

Apart from starring, Hathawy also co-produces the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/films">film</a> with Gabrielle Union and Cathy Shulman. Directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick), the movie follows the love story between a divorced mother, Solène, and the lead singer of the biggest boy band on the planet, Hayes Campbell.



<h2>‘The Idea of You’ is one of the highly-anticipated rom-coms of the year</h2>



The film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Robinne Lee. The script was penned by Jennifer Westfeldt (Friends with Kids), and it follows Solène, as she starts an unexpected romance with Campbell after taking her 16-year-old daughter to Coachella.

You’ve probably heard that “The Idea of You” was a fan-fiction about Harry Styles (such as another popular romance saga, “After”) but Lee has cleared up the speculation, telling Vogue that while a video of Harry inspired her to write the book, Campbell wasn’t supposed to represent the singer.



Apart from Hathaway and Galitzine, the movie stars Ella Rubin, Reid Scott, Jordan Aaron Hall, Jaiden Anthony, Raymond Cham Jr. Viktor White, Dakota Adan, Annie Mumolo and Perry Mattfeld.

Yes, the series is an adaptation of The King’s Assassin by Benjamin Woolley. This nonfiction work explores the plot to assassinate King James I, orchestrated by his lover, the Duke of Buckingham and his mother, Mary Villiers, which will be portrayed by Moore.



According to the press release, Villiers influenced her son George to seduce King James VI of Scotland and I of England. Thanks to their scheming, they rose from humble beginnings to become some powerful players in the English court.
