America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has been one of Netflix‘s great revelations added to its catalog this year. The documentary-style series has shone with each of its long episodes.

Greg Whiteley is the creator of the show, which follows the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders through auditions, training and the NFL season, as they pursue their dreams and a coveted spot on the team.

There have been several stars featured in the reality show, such as five-year veteran Kelcey and the rookies (new candidates) Reece, Kelly V and Charly, who form a group of three friends with different talents.

Will America’s Sweethearts: DCC have a second season?

As of July, Netflix has not renewed America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for a second season. However, fans of the series have become hooked and now want more.

This year’s selection process has already concluded, and just a day ago it was confirmed who has transitioned from being rookies to becoming part of the new 2024 squad.

In the first season, we saw Charly and Kelly V being denied, giving them hope to try again in the next edition, and the moment has arrived as it has been confirmed that they are now two of the new members.

The trio, also including Reece, will be shining together for the first time in front of millions of people. The schedule for their performances has not yet been published, but all signs point to us seeing them on the field soon.

Many fans have commented on the cheerleaders’ Instagram post, expressing that they really hoped the process and training they went through would be filmed again for a potential second season.
