Netflix has refreshed its catalog and on September 26, it added “Rez Ball“, a sports drama directed by Sydney Freeland, known for her work on series like Reservation Dogs and movies like Drunktown’s Finest.
The drama is based on the nonfiction book Canyon Dreams: A Basketball Season on the Navajo Nation by Michael Powell and follows the story of a high school basketball team, the Chuska Warriors, from Chuska, New Mexico.
Kauchani Bratt is one of the main protagonists and has been cast to portray Jimmy Holiday. Alongside him are Devin Sampson-Craig, Amber Midthunder and Jessica Matten, who plays Heather Hobbs.
