Black Sails ranked Top 6 series on Netflix US

It has been 10 years since the acclaimed premiere of Black Sails, the pirate drama that has captivated an entire generation. However, this does not change the fact that it has become a trend again, this time in the American catalog of Netflix.

Flix Patrol, the platform-specialized site, reported this morning that the show has become the sixth most-watched series on the streaming service in the United States, where it currently competes with titles like Midsummer Night.

The series features a wide variety of characters, from legendary pirates like Blackbeard to fictional characters like Captain Flint, and focuses on the complexities of their motivations and relationships.

Toby Stephens is one of the leads in the role of Flint throughout 38 episodes and was accompanied by multiple notable talents. Among the most prominent are Jessica Parker Kennedy, Zach McGowan and Luke Arnold.

The production was not only praised for its intelligent narrative and its ability to blend fiction with historical characters, but it was also well-received by critics and developed a loyal fan base during its broadcast.

After its premiere in 2014, it managed to receive several nominations for important awards, but one of the most notable was the Primetime Emmys. As the years went by, it accumulated a total of three statuettes.
