Get ready, fashion fans! We finally know when we can watch the most talked-about movie of the year from the comfort of our own couches. Disney just announced that The Devil Wears Prada 2 will officially stream on both Disney+ and Hulu starting Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
The movie first came out in theaters on May 1, 2026, and it has been a massive favorite for weeks. It brings back the original team we love, including Meryl Streep as the icy boss Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs.
If you have not seen it yet, do not worry! The movie is still playing in theaters right now, so you can still enjoy the big screen experience before it moves to streaming.
Why Is the Movie Such a Big Deal?
It has been twenty years since the first movie came out in 2006. Fans were a little worried that a sequel might not be as good, but the new film proved everyone wrong.
In the new story, Andy Sachs is no longer a scared assistant. She is now a top editor at Runway magazine, helping Miranda Priestly save her famous fashion company after a giant scandal. Emily Blunt also returns as Emily, who is now a big boss for the clothing brand Dior.
The movie is packed with fun moments, beautiful clothes, and lots of famous guests from the real fashion world, including Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace.
This sequel has been a giant money-maker around the world. It completely shocked Hollywood by bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars in just a couple of months. Total Worldwide Money: $682.1 million
