The legendary Meryl Streep has officially joined the voice cast as the formidable Insect Queen, adding unparalleled star power to the already highly anticipated film. This marks Streep’s first collaboration with Pixar since voicing Aunt Josephine in 2004’s Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, and her role is expected to be a central, powerful force in the narrative.

About the Movie

Hoppers is an animated science fiction comedy-adventure, marking Pixar’s 30th feature film. It is directed by Daniel Chong (creator of We Bare Bears) and explores a high-concept premise where scientists invent a technology that allows them to “hop” human consciousness into lifelike robotic animal bodies. A young woman named Mabel uses their technology to embody a robotic beaver and thwart a construction company’s plot to destroy the local animal habitat.
