Plot
Back to the Future introduces us to Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), a regular teenager in 1985 with a peculiar friend: the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd). Doc has invented a time machine using a DeLorean, and accidentally sends Marty to the ’50s.
There, Marty meets younger versions of his own parents, Lorraine Baines (Lea Thompson) and George McFly, before they fall in love. By accident, he interferes with their first meeting, jeopardizing his own existence. With the help of a young Doc Brown, Marty must make sure his parents fall in love to secure his future, avoid changing history, and find a way to get back to 1985 before it’s too late.

Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly): Fox’s career continued to soar with films like Teen Wolf and the series Family Ties. However, in 1991, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which he made public in 1998. Since then, Fox has become an tireless advocate and fundraiser for Parkinson’s research through his foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Despite the challenges of the disease, he has continued to act in recurring roles in series like Spin City, Rescue Me, and The Good Wife.

Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown): Lloyd, who was born in 1938, has had a prolific career and remains active in Hollywood, with more than 200 film and television credits. He has appeared in movies as diverse as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Addams Family, and Piranha 3D. His distinctive voice has also led to numerous voice acting roles in animation, including Hey Arnold!.
