Lanterns” is the new TV action drama produced by Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios that will be added to the Max catalog, making it one of the most anticipated titles among superhero fans.

The project has received a straight-to-series order from HBO, indicating strong confidence in the initiative. It is positioned as a foundational piece of the new DC Universe, set to launch next summer alongside “Superman: Legacy”.

The first season will feature Chris Mundy as showrunner, known for his work on “True Detective” and “Ozark”. He will also co-write the script alongside Damon Lindelof and Tom King, a prominent comic book writer.
