The 2024 Oscars, which takes place at the Theater Dolby of Los Angeles, close this year’s awards season. And, all the biggest celebrities walk the red carpet, hoping for glory. However, some of them also take the opportunity to highlight causes they believe in.

Historically, many celebrities have expressed some of their political views through fashion, or even just an accessory. Back in 2017, at the Golden Globes, all the actresses wore black to protest against against the lack of policies addressing sexual abuse in the industry.

Meanwhile, last year, many celebrities wore a blue ribbon as a way to bring awareness to the refugee crisis, and it was part of a campaign alongside the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. This year, some celebrities have used a red and orange pin. Here’s the meaning.
