Miley Cyrus is set to release her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, on May 30, 2025, under Columbia Records. This project marks a significant evolution in her career, blending music, fashion, and visual art into a cohesive experience.
The lead single, “End of the World,” released on April 3, 2025, showcases a disco-infused pop sound with ’70s-style piano chords and live strings.
The album features 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Grammy-winning producer Shawn Everett. Drawing inspiration from Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Something Beautiful aims to offer a multisensory experience that combines healing sound properties with a glamorous aesthetic.
Accompanying the album is a visual film, also titled Something Beautiful, set to premiere on June 6, 2025, at the Tribeca Festival. Directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, the film serves as a visual companion to the album.

The Cyrus family name has long been synonymous with American pop culture—first through Billy Ray’s country music stardom, and later through Miley’s meteoric rise on Hannah Montana, where Billy Ray played her on-screen father. In recent years, however, the once-close father-daughter duo has taken a quieter, more complex turn after Tish Cyrus, Miley’s mother, divorced Billy Ray in 2022.
In the aftermath of the split, Miley appeared to distance herself from her father both publicly and personally. She was frequently seen spending time with her mother and defined her as her superhero.
However, Miley was recently seen in photos with her father, sparking rumors that the two may have reconciled. Shortly after, she posted an Instagram Story addressing the speculation, writing: “My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I’m at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.”
