After so many rumors and speculations, it has finally been confirmed that Celine Dion is one of the stars who will perform at the Olympics Opening Ceremony 2024, which will take place in Paris.

For the first time, the event will be held on the Seine River, rather than in a closed-door stadium. This will forever change the history of the games, and 600,000 people are expected to attend, with 1,500,000 watching on TV.

Journalist Thierry Moreau posted on his social media that the “Ashes” singer has been chosen to perform a cover of the classic French song “La Vie en Rose” alongside Lady Gaga, who has not yet commented.

How much will Celine Dion be paid to sing?

Celine Dion will be making her first live performance after being diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome in 2022, so it was expected that she would charge a substantial sum of money for singing at the Olympic Games.

TMZ reported that the pop star will take home a payment of $2 million for singing a duet with Lady Gaga. The million-dollar sum only includes her stage performance and nothing else, so she will not sing the anthem as well.

The tweet from the Estelle Midi columnist, who first reported the news, stated that the singer will do her show dressed by Dior in a pink and black feathered cape. She has never lacked style and talent, so this time will be no different.
