In Dan’s case, the success of “Schitt’s Creek” catapulted him to fame, leading to more opportunities in Hollywood, along with higher pay. His compensation can now reach six-figure sums.

It is believed that for public speaking engagements, he could charge between $550,000 and $1 million per appearance. Therefore, it can be estimated that he might have earned around $700,000 for co-hosting the Emmys.

The same applies to his father, Eugene. His fee for hosting a major event or participating in brand deals is estimated to be around $700,000 or more, so he could have earned up to $1 million as co-host.
