96th Annual Academy Awards red carpet: Who will host the 2024 Oscars preview?

The countdown to the 2024 Oscars has already begun, but the ceremony is not the only thing expected for the night, as the incredible red carpet and the pre-show are also anticipated, which will be hosted by two actresses. Here, check who they are.

Just a few days left to celebrate the grand night of the film industry, and not only are the most popular Hollywood stars expected to be present, but there will also be minute-by-minute coverage starting from the red carpet.

Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough will be hosting the show that takes place before the ceremony and award presentation. The It Girls and actresses will join forces for the first time to converse with the celebrities.

The Academy Awards will be realizing their 96th edition this Sunday, March 10th, during the night at the Dolby Theatre. Undoubtedly, it will be a memorable evening, and it is estimated that hundreds of stars will be in attendance.

Vanessa Hudgens will co-host the Oscars Red Carpet Show

The countdown to the 2024 Oscars has already begun, and the academy confirmed this morning that it has its chosen ones for the pre-show coverage: Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough will be the hosts of the red carpet.

For the first time, the two stars will combine their social talents to welcome celebrities before the most important gala of the year and in the film industry takes place.

On March 6th, the organization’s official Instagram account posted: “Join Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough for ‘The Oscars Red Carpet Show,’ the official pre-show for the 96th edition of the Oscars. Tune in to ABC to watch the Oscars live on Sunday, March 10th, at a new earlier time, 7e/4p!”.

How many times has Vanessa Hudgens been a host for the Oscars?

Well, despite it being her first time with Julianne Hough, it’s not her debut as a host of the Oscars’ red carpet. This will be her third time in the role of host, as she was present in the previous editions.

Many users didn’t hesitate to share their opinions and praise on the academy’s announcement, with some posting “Vanessa was great the last time. It’s great to see her back”, “I can’t wait to see her again” and “Vanessa is an incredible host”.

How long will the Oscars pre-show last?

This year, the red carpet coverage will last only 30 minutes. There, presenters, artists, and nominees will have their moment to shine, but especially to showcase their chosen looks for the evening.

The Hollywood Reporter reported on the pre-show and stated, “The goal is to provide viewers with a multi-platform experience of the arrivals on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood”.
