Fashion lovers and fans of period dramas, Apple TV+ has the definitive show for you: The New Look, a new historical series that will explore the rise and fall of some of the most iconic designers during the post-World War II period. And it will count with A-listers such as Ben Mendelssohn and Glenn Close.

The series, which was filmed entirely in Paris, was created by Todd A. Kessler, who is known for Damages. The name of the show itself comes from the term that was to describe Dior’s work, which was coined by Carmel Snow, editor of Harper’s Baazar.

Kessler also directed some episodes. Helen Shaver, Jeremy Podeswa and Julia Ducournau were also behind the camera. Jason Rabe and Amanda Coe also wrote for the series. If you’re interested in knowing more about this show, check out all we know so far.
