The Bachelorette, the first spin-off from The Bachelor franchise, has been one of the most successful dating reality TV shows since its conception. Following the same format of its flagship show, the series aims to help a single woman find the love of her life (or next husband) by selecting a group of men to court her.
Over the years, the franchise has been an object of fascination. For example, there’s been speculation surrounding the payment details of The Bachelorette, as well as the alleged rules Bachelorette contestants have to follow during their season.

Trista Rehn was the first-ever Bachelorette and one of the most successful love stories to ever come from the franchise. She got engaged to firefighter Ryan Sutter at the end of her season after he proposed to her, and they tied the knot in December 2003. They are still going strong, and have two children together.
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are another example that, sometimes, dating shows can work. They met during The Bachelorette’s ninth season, tied the knot in January 2015 and have welcomed two sons. While viewers have their doubts, after Desiree seemed to be devastated after Brooks Forester broke up with her, she and Chris have made it work.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers fell for each other during season 12 of The Bachelorette, and they tied the knot in May 2022 after postponing the wedding twice due to the pandemic. There were rumors that the pair met before the show, but Jordan clarified that they had never spoken prior filming, only that she had heard his name during the casting process.
Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko
Charity and Dotun found love during season 20 of The Bachelorette, and not only did they leave the show engaged. They are now living together in New York City, and they are considering marrying in 2025 or 2026.
