While Tom Hiddleston might be best known for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, arguably one of his best works was for the series “The Night Manager,” released in 2016. While it was deemed as a miniseries, the show has been renewed for a highly-anticipated second season.
However, Hiddleston is not the only star that appeared in the spy drama. The cast also included award-winning actors Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander, David Harewood and Elizabeth Debicki. And behind the camera, it was directed by Susanne Bier, who won an Emmy for the first season.
Adapted from John le Carré’s 1993 novel of the same name, the series follows the journey of Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston), a former British soldier turned night manager of a luxury hotel in Cairo, who is recruited by Angela Burr, an intelligence operative played by Colman, to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper, portrayed by Laurie. Here’s what we know about the second season of the series.

However, there are new additions to the cast, as well. Camila Morrone (“Daisy Jones & The Six”, Marmalade”), Diego Calva (“Babylon”), Indira Varma (“Game of Thrones”), Paul Chahidi (“The Serpent Queen”) and Hayley Squires (“Beau Is Afraid”) complete the cast for now.
