Kleks Academy is not only a classic of Polish cinema, but now Netflix has carried out a remake that takes us through nostalgia with incredible visual effects, great set design and iconic characters.

Maciej Kawulski is the one who directed the movie, which made its debut on the screen in 2023, but it didn’t reach the platform’s catalog until just over a month ago, since it was incorporated on May 1.

The story is based on the fantasy book “Akademia Pana Kleksa”, which was published in 1946 by Jan Brzechwa and this week, it has become the fifth most-viewed production on the streaming giant worldwide.

Flix Patrol reported this morning that the fantasy drama is one of the strongest trends on the streaming giant and has been fluctuating in position within the Top 10 but now occupies the Top 5.

The story follows the teenager Ada, who ends up at the mysterious Kleks Academy, where crossing into the world of fairy tales and pushing the limits of imagination is possible.

Antonina Litwiniak is the young star who brings the main character, Ada Niezgódka, to life. However, she is not the only talented figure in the cast, as she was accompanied by Tomasz Kot, Piotr Fronczewski, Danuta Stenka and more.

The popular and trending drama received a great reception from viewers and could quickly become a beloved classic for both children and adults, as it has everything it takes.

It was praised for its imaginative storytelling, colorful visual effects, and memorable characters, which resonate with multiple audiences, regardless of age. Undoubtedly, it could pave the way for a sequel.
