Sarah J. Maas is not just another author who has sold millions of copies, but quite the opposite; she has become one of the foremost figures in the fantasy and romance genres, especially those geared towards young adults due to their spicy content.

Just one day ago, House of Flame and Shadow, the third installment of the Crescent City series, was officially released to the public. The saga features protagonists Lidia Cervos, Bryce Quinlan, Ruhn Danaan and other incredible characters with unique personalities.

Following the incredible success of all her novels, Deadline confirmed that several studios have been pursuing the author to adapt her stories. One of them is A Court of Thorns and Roses, which will be brought to life by Hulu and Ron D. Moore (Outlander).

Sarah J. Maas already has over 15 original titles under her authorship that have enamored, excited, and made thousands of readers suffer around the world. Each of her novels is eagerly awaited, and the first copies tend to sell out within hours because she is one of the most influential authors of the generation.

If you want to read her creations in order of release, you should start with Throne of Glass (TOG), as it is the first series she began writing when she was only 16 years old.

According to the official West Palm Beach website, the plot is a kind of “what if” scenario based on the Cinderella story, attempting to answer a big question: What if Cinderella were not a servant but an assassin? Undoubtedly, the ending would be much more interesting and entertaining.

This saga was followed by A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), featuring Rhysand, Feyre and Tamlin, along with their group of loved ones, consisting of vibrant characters with strong personalities. The story is filled with fantasy, romance, and plenty of chaos that intertwines their lives with tragedy.

Lastly (for now) is Crescent City (CC), which was labeled as her first adult fantasy series. Set in a modern world but with the right mix of magic and fae. Despite theories and more, many of the characters have crossed paths at some point, so it’s important to know who each one is.
