Slow Horses” has been one of the major premieres to hit Apple TV+ in recent years, and its loyal fan base has only grown, making it one of the most-watched shows worldwide and earning a spot in the Top 10.

The Emmy Award-winning series currently has four seasons available on the platform, with episodes led by prominent talents like Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden, among other industry figures.

The story follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a disreputable department of MI5, led by their brilliant but irascible leader (the notorious Jackson Lamb), due to mistakes that ended his career.

Will Slow Horses have a fifth season on Apple TV+?

Yes! Slow Horses will be returning to the Apple TV+ catalog with its fifth season. The series, produced by Will Smith, has been renewed once again, thanks to the large number of viewers it has attracted over its four seasons.

According to Town & Country, the spy comedy will be based on the Slough House series by Mark Herron, and the confirmation of new episodes came a few months prior to the release of the fourth season, led by Gary Oldman.

The story of the upcoming season will follow the fifth book, titled London Rules, which is part of the saga. Several members of the project, such as actor Christopher Chung, have spoken about the show’s future.

During an interview with GamesRadar+, the star who plays Roddy Ho stated that he is truly excited about what’s coming, especially because his character will develop even further. He said:

There is a bigger focus on Roddy as there is in the book. There’s a lot more of me and I may even throw in a dance move or two [laughs]. Everyone gets a moment in the spotlight which is great but I had read the six or seven books that were out when I was cast and because ‘London Rules’ has such a heavy focus on Roddy, I was hoping we would get to season 5“.
