The day has finally arrived, and fans of period dramas will soon find out what happens to the characters in a third season, set to join the<strong> HBO</strong> catalog next year.</p>



<p>The second season of the lavish drama created by <strong>Julian Fellowes</strong> concluded on Sunday, December 23, and it didn’t take long for the announcement of the new episodes. This was expected, as <strong>Warner Bros Discovery</strong> noted that the show’s last episode reached a new historic peak in viewership.</p>



<p>The successful story is set in late 19th-century New York City during the Gilded Age, a period known for economic changes and conflicts between old customs and new systems in the country. Therefore, in the upcoming installment, we might see a small leap in time.</p>

<p>The acclaimed period series from the creator of <em>Downton</em> <em>Abbey</em> will have between eight and nine more episodes, similar to the previous installments. The main cast is expected to be present in these episodes, including Morgan Spector, Louisa Jacobson, Denée Benton, Ben Ahlers, Michael Cerveris, Kelley Curran and Taissa Farmiga.</p>

<p>The initial episodes follow a bright young individual from a conservative family who embarks on a mission to infiltrate the wealthy neighboring clan, dominated by the ruthless railroad magnate George Russell, his libertine son Larry, and his ambitious wife, Bertha.</p>



<p>However, as events unfold, everything becomes a bit more complicated, and drama quickly ensues. The story unfolds in the United States during the Gilded Age, a period spanning the late 19th century characterized by rapid economic growth, industrialization, and significant social changes.</p>
