Filip Berg stars in Netflix‘s new Swedish hit, “Trouble“, which debuted in the catalog during the first days of October and has already positioned itself as the second most-watched movie on the platform worldwide.

The title is a remake of “Strul”, originally released in 1988, and offers a blend of fast-paced action and humor. The actor, whose love life has long been a mystery, portrays the lead character, Conny.

The drama was well-received, with mixed reviews, praised for its fast pace and light-hearted approach that keeps the audience entertained from start to finish. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most entertaining foreign options of the year.

Could Trouble get a sequel on Netflix?

Given the success of Nordic productions on Netflix, such as Snabba Cash and The Playlist, and the platform’s growing interest in Swedish content, there is a possibility that “Trouble” could return with a new installment in the future.

However, no continuation or sequel has been confirmed yet. Before deciding on a second part, the streaming giant will need to assess how the title performs in terms of global viewership and whether it is worth pursuing further.
