A Virtuous Business” (Jeongsughan Seiljeu) is a new South Korean drama series directed by Jo Woong and written by Choi Bo-rim, which brings a different, creative and super fun proposal to Netflix’s catalog.

The story is set in 1992 in a rural village called Geumje, where four women decide to venture into selling adult products at home, breaking social taboos and exploring themes of female empowerment and friendship.

The title is a remake of a 2016 production and this time features four talented actresses: Kim So-yeon, Kim Sung-ryung, Kim Sun-young and Lee Se-Hee, along with several other figures from the Korean industry.

Will A Virtuous Business get a second season?

A Virtuous Business” is the new Netflix comedy that, with only one episode released, has become a trending topic, especially due to its unique theme. As of October 12, it has not yet been renewed for a second season.

Since it is based on the British series “Brief Encounters”, its future will likely depend on audience reception and viewership numbers after the complete airing of the first season on the streaming giant.

It is expected that the platform and JTBC will provide updates on a potential renewal once the broadcast concludes, with the final episode scheduled for November 17 of this year. In total, the first season will have 12 episodes.
