That’s right, fans! True Detective is back on Max with a fourth season. Although Pizzolatto will not return as showrunner or writer but as an executive producer, the project is in good hands. She assured that she chose to create a “dark mirror” of the first season, “Where True Detective is masculine and sweaty, Night Country is cold and dark and feminine”. Because of this, Jodie Foster and Kali Reis have been chosen as the two lead actresses.

Each of the six episodes will arrive on the Max platform at the same time. They will be released on different days but at 6 PM PT and 9 PM ET every Sunday. Therefore, the last installment of the fourth season will be added to the catalog on February 25, bringing an end to the new story.
