Timothée Chalamet’s impact on Hollywood is undeniable. After his breakout role in the critically adored Call Me by Your Name (2017), he became the youngest nominee for the Best Actor Oscar in nearly 80 years. His career since has been a carefully plotted blend of roles, from the global box office dominance of the Dune franchise to his celebrated turn as Willy Wonka and his recent, SAG Award-winning portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown (2024). In December 2025 the movie Marty Supreme, where he plays the main character, will be released and is already positioned as one of the leaders of Oscar 2026’s conversations.

However, if he had to choose the best film he’s seen this year, he said that Heat (1995) -which ironically inspired The Dark Knight– is his favorite. He recognized he “arrived” late, but can now assure it is a classic.
