Shakira to sing at Copa America USA 2024 final: Rumored setlist and what is known

Shakira is ready to return to the stage, and not just with the "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour". She has also been chosen for the halftime show of the Copa America USA 2024 final. Check out what we know.

Shakira is no stranger to the shows organized by organizations and events related to soccer, as the Colombian star has performed multiple times, delivering great hits like “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” and “La La La“.

Just a few minutes ago, it was confirmed that she will be present at the much-anticipated Copa América final for the first time. This year, it is taking place in the United States and is scheduled for Sunday, July 14, at the Hard Rock Stadium.

CONMEBOL’s president announced that the singer will be the first musical act during halftime. “We are confident that her performance will enhance the message of healthy passion and unity through sports”, Alejandro Domínguez stated.

What songs could Shakira sing? Rumored setlist

Shakira has been chosen to perform at the grand final, and as expected, the setlist will be filled with hits from the Colombian star. The official list has not yet been confirmed, but some rumored hits could be included.

The song “Puntería“, which is a collaboration with Cardi B, has been confirmed as one of the official tracks for the coverage of the CONMEBOL Copa América 2024, so it is expected to be one of them.

Many fans have been requesting some of her classics in the Instagram post where she announced her participation. One of them was “Pies Descalzos“, which belongs to the self-titled album that is the third in her discography.

The final will take place on Sunday, the 14th of this month, at 8:00 PM (local time). As expected, the show will feature over 54,000 fans, who will come to see her and the teams competing in the final game.
