Paramount+ and A24 have officially kicked off production on Discretion, an eight-episode legal thriller starring Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman alongside Oscar and Emmy nominee Elle Fanning.
Adapted from a short story by New York Times bestselling author Chandler Baker (Whisper Network), the series promises an intense, character-driven deep dive into the corporate gray zones where money, morality, and legal silence collide.
The Plot: A Dangerous Game of Legal Chess
Set inside the high-stakes world of a prestigious Dallas law firm, Discretion centers on Lenny (Fanning), an ambitious summer associate who stumbles upon a chilling corporate cover-up masked by a complex web of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
The stakes become terrifyingly personal when Lenny realizes she has unknowingly signed the exact same agreement.
Her discovery places her directly in the crosshairs of Sharon (Kidman), the firm’s most commanding and powerful senior female partner. What starts as a promising mentor-protégé dynamic rapidly devolves into a high-stakes battle over power, ambition, and survival, begging the central question: Who gets to keep secrets, and at what cost?

Beyond its powerhouse leading ladies, Discretion has assembled an impressive ensemble cast and behind-the-scenes team:
