Big Brother Season 26 recap | All that happened
- Episode 1: “Welcome to the House” (July 17, 2024)
The new season kicked off with a two-night premiere introducing the 16 houseguests, each bringing their own experience and strategy to the game. They then moved into the house, and alliances began to form.
The first competition for the Head of Household position was held, setting the stage for the power dynamics. Cam Sullivan-Brown won the first HoH competition, gaining an early advantage and being the first of the 2024 edition.
There were several key moments, but two of them were the introduction of a new twist related to the BB AI, which promises to add unexpected challenges, and Angela Murray and Quinn Martin emerging as the first influencers.
- Episode 2: “The Game Begins” (July 18, 2024)
As the houseguests settled in, the first nominations were announced, and the game quickly heated up. Cam Sullivan-Brown, as the HoH, had to navigate through alliances and decide who to put on the block.
Cam decided to nominate Leah Peters and Makensy Manbeck for eviction, citing strategic reasons. Inevitably, this caused tensions to rise as alliances began to solidify, leading the house to split into different factions.
A key moment in the second episode was when a surprise competition revealed the “Upgrade Power”, which allows a houseguest to gain a significant advantage compared to their fellow contestants.
- Episode 3: “Power of Veto” (July 20, 2024)
SPOILERS! – The Power of Veto (PoV) competition took center stage, offering the nominees a chance to save themselves from eviction. The competition was intense, testing both physical and mental skills.
There were several key moments, such as Brooklyn Rivera winning the PoV, showcasing her competitive spirit and securing her safety. She decided to use the veto on Leah, prompting Cam to nominate a replacement: Angela Murray.
