We are just a few weeks away from the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, and it’s time to learn everything about the ceremony, which will take place on September 11 at the UBS Arena in New York and will be broadcast live at 8 PM ET/PT.

Since its inception in 1984, the VMAs have become one of the most important and anticipated events in the music industry, especially due to the incredible performances that artists deliver on stage.

Last year, it was Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Måneskin and other big stars who took control of the show. However, this time, a mix of legends and new revelations have been chosen to take the reins…

Which artists will perform at the 2024 VMAs?

This year, the VMAs stages will be filled with female artists and only three male singer. The most relevant stars of 2024 have been chosen to perform at the ceremony, and several have already performed multiple times.

Sabrina Carpenter is one of them. The singer of “Please Please Please” was included in the list of performers for 2023, but this year she will make her debut on the main stage of the event. Also, she is nominated for six awards.

In addition to the singer-songwriter responsible for the summer hit (Espresso), the performers at the ceremony will include: LISA, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Camila Cabello and Rauw Alejandro, Halsey, Benson Boone and Lenny Kravitz.

One of the most anticipated performances by music fans is that of Roan, who has been a major discovery in recent months and has become one of the standout artists with several of her songs, such as “Good Luck, Babe!”.

Many have been wondering if Sabrina and Chappell might end up collaborating on stage, as Carpenter did a cover of her most popular song on BBC Radio, which has garnered millions of online streams. So far, nothing has been confirmed.
