Jennifer Lopez has been trending for a few weeks, especially after releasing her biographical film on the Prime Video catalog. However, it’s her life documentary that has currently secured a place in the Top 3.
Several stars who were featured in This Is Me…Now: A Love Story have returned for the behind-the-scenes, portrayed in The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which premiered just four days ago.
Ben Affleck has not only accompanied the singer every step of the way but also contributed some of his expertise as a producer and director, taking charge of conducting interviews and scenes for the new production.
The Greatest Love Story Never Told ranked 3 on Prime Video
The Greatest Love Story Never Told was the next step for Jennifer Lopez after This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, the biographical film that blends her story with some elements of fiction. Now, the documentary has become the third most-watched on Prime Video worldwide.
According to the metrics-focused website, Flix Patrol, the production directed by Jason B. Bergh not only managed to surpass several titles, but many of them have been trending for several weeks, as was the case with the Spanish film My Fault and Saltburn with Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan.
This time, the documentary film takes place behind the scenes, accompanying the 54-year-old star in the independent production of a new album that explores her twenty-year journey toward self-love. It not only depicts her life but also how it has influenced her intimate circle and loved ones.
Vanity Fair reported that the music icon spent around $20 million to produce the new album, titled This Is Me… Now, where she delves fully into her private life, covering her romantic relationships, marriages and even her “addiction to being loved”. Of course, it’s always JLo who is at the center of the stage.
The star served as a writer, creator and protagonist of the new documentary project, which the Daily Beast described as a “resplendent sanctuary to narcissism and its many victims”. However, it continues to shine on the platform and seems to have no ceiling, as it keeps climbing in the Top 10.
Several stars have accompanied the singer throughout the development of the feature film, but among the most prominent names and those who have made an appearance in the documentary are: Tony Bellissimo, Derek Hough, Sofía Vergara, Trevor Noah, Post Malone, Kim Petras, Keke Palmer and Jay Shetty.
