This time, the story will follow her character’s career decline, forcing her to confront Emily, who is now a senior executive at a luxury group, seeking her assistance, publicity and funding.
Which stars are returning for The Devil Wears Prada 2?
Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt have been confirmed as the first stars in the sequel to “The Devil Wears Prada”, as they will be the leads in the new installment, which began development 18 years after the original debuted.
In addition to them, David Frankel is in negotiations to return as the director of the film, while Aline Brosh McKenna is handling the screenplay. As expected, the team has been reaching out to the rest of the iconic cast.
On Tuesday, July 9th, it was reported that Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci are also discussing a possible return as Andy Sachs and Nigel. Now, it was finally confirmed that both stars will return for the much-anticipated sequel.
There are some characters who are not really essential to the second part, so we may not hear about them again, such as Nate (Andy’s ex-boyfriend), who was portrayed by Adrian Grenier.
