Fourth of July is almost here, and if you’re thinking about buying last-minute goods for the festivities, you might want to know which stores will be open during the holiday. Here’s what you need to know about which retailers will be open.

For many Americans, the Fourth of July is a day off work filled with family gatherings, parades, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue. It’s the perfect excuse to fire up the grill, enjoy a picnic in the park, and soak up some sunshine. However, you can also stay home to watch some patriotic movies.

As a federal holiday, banks and US Post Service offices will be closed on Thursday, most retail stores will be open on July 4th. Grocery stores and restaurants will largely remain open as well. Meanwhile, big retailers like Target, Walmart, Home Depot and Macy’s will also be open, but check out their schedule.
