On the coast of a small town in the eastern United States, a massive great white shark attacks several people. Fearing the disastrous impact this could have on the tourism business, the mayor refuses to close the beaches or spread the news. However, a new shark attack claims the life of a swimmer. As terror grips everyone, a veteran shark hunter, an oceanographer, and the local police chief join forces to try to capture the shark.

The story follows Louis Baron, who arrives in Palm Springs driven by revenge, the dream of reuniting with his stolen family, and a dangerous plan to seize the billions of lithium in the Salton Sea. There will be blood in the sand and bones in the desert.



<h5>Alto Knights – November, 15</h5>



Wise Guys, also known as Alto Knights, is the crime and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> biopic directed by Barry Levinson, with a script developed by Nicholas Pileggi. The film is expected to be released on November 15, 2024.



The story revolves around Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, two Italian-Americans who lead different crime families in the mid-20th century. In 1957, Genovese attempted to assassinate Costello, who later retired from the mafia.

From the long list of upcoming projects that Robert De Niro has, one of them remains quite cryptic, but it is an action film directed and written by Jonathan Jakubowicz.



So far, the cast is only confirmed with Edgar Ramírez in the role of J.M, while the Oscar-winning actor will portray G.B. The release date is yet to be announced, but indications suggest it won’t be in 2024.

The actor will portray Ted Delaney in the upcoming crime and drama film, After Exile. It will be directed by Dito Montiel, based on a script by Anthony Thorne and Michael Tovo, who was responsible for writing the story.

Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ will finally make its debut on streaming. The announcement comes just in time for the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/awards-season-2024-all-dates-for-oscars-emmys-grammys-golden-globes-and-more-20240102-SPEN-655.html">beginning of the awards season</a>, in which the film is set to make a splash.



Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone in the lead roles, the story is set in 1920 in Oklahoma, and follows a conspiracy against members of the Osage nation in a series of brutal crimes known as the “Reign of Terror,” after major oil deposits were discovered on their land. It’s based on the bestselling novel by David Grann of the same name.

‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ has already collected several recognitions such as being honored as the Best Film of the Year by the National Board of Review, as well as being named to the American Film Institute’s list of Motion Pictures of the Year. It has also been honored as the best feature of 2023 by the New York Film Critics Circle.

It received 12 Critics Choice Award nominations and 7 Golden Globe Award nominations, and it’s poised to be one of the favorites at the Oscars. Nods for Lily Gladstone (Best Actress), Martin Scorsese (Best Director) and Best Picture are being predicted.



The film, which reportedly had a production budget of $200 million, grossed $156 million at the global box office (distributed by Paramount). However, while it didn’t break even, experts still debate if it’s a hit or a miss for Apple, as it’s not a traditional studio. Streaming views and subscriptions will tell the whole story.



<h2>Where was ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ filmed?</h2>



With such a big production budget, Scorsese got to do the movie as big as he wanted to. The film was shot on location in Oklahoma, with production designer Jack Fisk (The Revenant, There Will Be Blood) creating the sets with about $15 million from the budget, according to what he told Architectural Digest.
