El nombre de August Alsina ya era conocido en Estados Unidos, principalmente, por su labor como cantante de rap. En 2007 comenzó su carrera, perorecién en 2012 logró saltar a la fama con un éxito como ‘Downtown: Life Under The Gun and Testimony’ y también en 2015 con ‘This Thing Called Life’. Sin embargo, su nombre logró repercusión mundial hace apenas unas semanas por una situación escandalosa.
¿Qué ocurrió? August Alsina comentó que mantuvo un romance con Jada Pinkett, esposa de Will Smith. Tras sus polémicas declaraciones, la propia pareja salió a confirmar sus dichos. De hecho,la actriz comentó que “tuvo un enredo” con el rapero, quien además es nada menos que amigo de su propio hijo Jaden Smith.
Creer o reventar, Alsina aprovechó la fama que adquirió a nivel mundial y decidió confeccionar una canción utilizandouna palabra que Pinkett utilizódurante la charla que mantuvo con Will Smith en el programa Red Table Talk: “Entanglement”. La misma, traducida al español, significa “enredo”.
El músico de 27 años bautizó la canción “Entanglements” y la realizó junto a Rick Ross. Tan sólo algunas horas después de haber lanzado el tema, el video en YouTube adquirió casi 700.000 visitas y provocó decenas de comentarios por parte de los espectadores.
